Record

COVID-19 Update: All in-person recording services are suspended at this time. Production and audio services that can be done remotely are still available.

Brave Sound recording and video services are available in our Manhattan/Washington Heights studio (near George Washington bridge on the west side, closest to 175th st. A train).

Off-site recording services are also available in all NYC boroughs, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Let’s build something.

We are NOT your typical recording studio. Our specialty is integrating virtual instruments with live improvisation. Pop and electronica producers have been harnessing this technology for decades, and it’s time we learn to use these technologies to our advantage as well! You don’t need to have an any experience with virtual instruments to record with us, we set up everything so all you have to do is play!

Below is our production, mixing information. For mastering services, please see: https://bravesound.org/mastering/

When you rent a commercial recording facility, you’re paying for the $100k-1 million+ building sound isolation costs, the vintage condenser microphones, racks of outboard gear and associated repairs, and much more in acoustic treatment. These are all beautiful things but with today’s listening trends and distribution, we need to be able to make professional quality music at significantly lower cost/overhead. We’re harnessing the incredible software technologies that are available to bypass these needs. Additionally, we do have plenty of microphones and acoustic gear when situations call for this as well.

Here are what you’ll have at your disposal when you produce your next project with us:
