Henry Plotnick is a New York based jazz pianist and composer originally from San Francisco. He has performed with the Downbeat award winning SFJAZZ High School All Stars Combo and also as a solo pianist playing classical, electronic, and free improvised music. More recently, he has had a steady gig playing rock, blues, and country music with Brooklyn-based rock band The National Reserve. The band he is bringing to Brave Sound is a new group dedicated to performing his original compositions, comprised of peers he has met in his time pursuing a degree in jazz performance at the New School.
